Edward Cullen and Bella Swan may be the romantic ideal for millions of teenage girls, but the lives of their real-life counterparts, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, don't sound too shabby either.

The couple, who are currently in Vancouver filming the third Twilight film, Eclipse, apparently were able to sneak away from the set recently for a romantic weekend.

Bryce Dallas Howard (director Ron Howard's gorgeous daughter and star of Lady in the Water) will replace Rachelle Lefevre for the role of Victoria in the third installment of the Twilight saga, Eclipse.

This is good news, because Rachelle was annoying playing the role of the curly red-haired villain. She took it too damn seriously. And rule #1 of Twilight is you don't take it seriously. Bryce should inject some credibility into the franchise now.

And then there were four.

Robert Pattinson confirmed yesterday, while attending the Cannes Film Festival in France, that there is going to be a film version of the fourth and final book in the Twilight series, entitled Breaking Dawn, and that he's signed on to star in it.

Filming of the second installment of the franchise, New Moon, is due to end this week and is set to premiere in November. The third film, Eclipse, is tentatively scheduled to debut in June, 2010.

We finally have a reason to jump on the Twilight movie train!

While we haven’t read the books and we thought the first film was subpar, there’s talk of Channing Tatum joining the cast of Eclipse, the third film in the franchise.

For Channing, we’ll jump on any bus and ride it like Zorro!

The third film in the Twilight franchise, Eclipse, could take a very dark turn: Horror film director David Slade has signed on to helm the project.

Slade previously directed Hard Candy in 2005 and 2007's vampire flick 30 Days of Night.

Twilight author Stephenie Meyer voiced her support for the new addition to the Twilight team saying, “I am thrilled that David Slade will be directing Eclipse. He’s a visionary filmmaker who has so much to offer this franchise.

Summit Entertainment has announced which director is being thrown into the Twilight series to direct Eclipse, the third film in the franchise, one without a script but with a solid release date of June 30th, 2010.

And the poor schlub is…

Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona.

Sorry, Drew Barrymore, they’re just not that into you.

Okay, we love Drew Barrymore…or at least we did before we saw He’s Just Not That Into You which she should be ashamed for producing, but we’re willing to forgive and forget.

We are not, however, willing to cut her this much slack.

Drew is reportedly in the running to direct Eclipse, the third installment of the Twilight series.

Sigh.

As if that movie weren’t already on the brink of disaster.

Summit isn't messing around.

They have a cash cow and they want that bad boy milked dry with the quickness.

The third installment in the Twilight film series, Eclipse, has already been given a release date: June 30th, 2010.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
