A Gossip Girl themed clothing line has been shelved because bosses at the Target store were nervous about the show's raunchy reputation.

Designer Anna Sui's new line with the clothing giant is still going ahead, but will not be linked to the hit teen drama, entering its third season. 

We wouldn't want to be on the recieving end of that stare.

Chace Crawford has broken ranks with his many of his fellow Gossip Girl co-stars and looked outside of the show's cast to find a new mate.

Crawford has apparently been getting cozy with 19-year-old Sports Illustrated model Esti Ginzburg, with whom he will co-star in Joel Schumacher's upcoming film Twelve.

Maybe she's helping him stay limber for the Footloose remake.

Ed Westwick is officially making the leap from TV to the big screen.

The Gossip Girl star has been cast in a film version of Emily Bronte's classic novel, Wuthering Heights. Westwick will star as Heathcliff, the brooding young man who is all but consumed by his own passion, while Bond-girl Gemma Arterton will play Cathy, Heathcliff's foster sister and love interest.

Last night, a newly tanned and shorn Ed Westwick (loving the haircut, Eddie) attended the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Meanwhile, downtown, Ed Norton was co-hosting the Soho Rep Spring Gala.

Both Eds cut a fine figure in a black suit and skinny tie, but who would you rather?
