Edward Norton

The New York City Marthon was this weekend and the stars came out for it (some of them anyway).

Edward Norton and Anthony Edwards, who are in better shape than we ever thought, finished in under four hours, and Alanis Morisette came in just under four-and-a-half.

It’s the Battle of the Eds!

Last night, a newly tanned and shorn Ed Westwick (loving the haircut, Eddie) attended the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Meanwhile, downtown, Ed Norton was co-hosting the Soho Rep Spring Gala.

Both Eds cut a fine figure in a black suit and skinny tie, but who would you rather?

Gossip Girl’s resident bad boy?

Or an Oscar-nominee with a history of bad behavior onset and in the editing room?

You gotta love a little sinister streak.

Salma Hayek and her French billionaire baby daddy Francois-Henri Pinault were married for the second time in a lavish event on Saturday.

The pair quietly wed at City Hall in Paris on Valentine’s Day but held a second ceremony and party for all of their friends and family.

The wedding took place on the second floor at the Teatro La Fenice, an opera house in Venice, Italy, on Saturday evening with guests arriving by boat with Venetian masks covering their faces.

To quote the brilliant Madeline Kahn in the eminently quotable film Clue:

We hate her soooo much. Flames. Flames on the side of our face! Breathing, breathless, heaving breaths.

Homewrecking whore Evan Rachel Wood, 21, is reportedly jumping off her daddy issues bandwagon and into the arms of one of our favorites, Joseph Gordon-Levitt (who we like to call Mini Keanu).

Edward Norton (come out, come out, wherever you are, we miss you, Ed) has produced a documentary chronicling President-elect Barack Obama’s path to the White House. A seven figure deal was just signed for the film to air on HBO right around the time of Obama’s inauguration in early 2009. (Typing the words “Obama’s inauguration” was just so exciting!)

Evan Rachel Wood, a girl who obviously has more issues than a newsstand, dumped her live-in boyfriend of two years, Marilyn Manson, on October 23rd after Manson tried to kick Wood’s brother Ira out of their guest house.

Evan, 21, who previously has been linked to Edward Norton who, like shock-goth-rocker Manson, is eighteen years her senior, is a triflin’ skeeza. She has been widely blamed for being one of the main destructive factors in the collapse of Manson’s marriage to burlesque goddess Dita Von Teese.

Swoon.

Edward Norton arrived at last night’s premiere of his new film, Pride and Glory, in Manhattan looking as foxy as ever.

We love Edward so much, it hurts. What kills us is how infrequently he comes out to play. He’s like Haley’s Comet, which makes catching a glimpse that much more thrilling.

Hella fine! And oh-so talented. Love love love!

Mr. “I See Dead People” attended last night’s opening night after party for the Broadway revival of Equus starring Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe, at NYC’s Pier 60, and we can’t say he’s a sight for sore eyes.

We want to be supportive (Really, we do!) but post-pubescent Haley is making that task difficult.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
