Ellen Page

Model to actress, child star to leading man, actress to singer; Hollywood crossovers are hard to pull off.

Drew Barrymore and Ellen Page apparently became very close on the set of their new movie Whip It!

To, uh, promote the movie, they both sat down to an interview with Marie Claire, and apparently locked lips for the photo shoot.

See It or Skip It: Whip It

I had high hopes for Drew Barrymore's directorial debut, Whip It, but it is supremely disappointing. Gutless, amatuerish and unimpressive, Ellen Page does her usual blase bore routine, Andrew Wilson provides momentary eye candy and Zoe Bell is delightfully charismatic but the film is intensely lackluster, unfunny and throughly skip-able. Blah.

It’s ovah.

Dunzo.

Finito.

After months of breakups and makeups, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have finally, officially called it quits.

Lindsay confirmed the breakup to E! News saying: “We are taking a brief break so I can focus on myself.”

Really?

Because we’ve got a shiny new quarter that says you’re making out with someone in a booth at Villa before Easter.

Okay, we love Drew Barrymore…or at least we did before we saw He’s Just Not That Into You which she should be ashamed for producing, but we’re willing to forgive and forget.

We are not, however, willing to cut her this much slack.

Drew is reportedly in the running to direct Eclipse, the third installment of the Twilight series.

Sigh.

As if that movie weren’t already on the brink of disaster.

Ellen Page has been cast in the forthcoming drama about Laurel Hester, a terminally ill New Jersey police officer who fought for pension benefits for her lesbian partner while battling lung cancer.

The Juno star will take on the role of Hester’s life partner Stacie in the film.

Ellen Page as a lesbian, eh?

We’re not sayin’…we’re just sayin’.

Okay. Okay. It’s not really fair to call Drew Barrymore a cougar. She’s only 33 so, technically, she’s a Puma.

But let’s not argue over semantics, let’s talk about the fact that Drew was snapped leaving the SNL after party at WildWood BBQ in the wee hours of Sunday morning to head to an after-after party in the West Village with Chace Crawford firmly in hand.

Is life imitating art?

The MTV Movie Awards may be over but a fashion faux pas can live forever.

Here’s our Sauce-y rundown of who nailed it and who screwed the pooch.

NAILED IT:

Sarah Jessica Parker: With Rapunzel hair and Jenny from the Block Louboutin booties, SJP’s L’Wren Scott iridescent golden-black turtleneck dress and chunky bracelets were the perfect mix of ghetto fabulous and urban chic.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
