Salma Hayek’s Saturday wedding to French billionaire François-Henri Pinault at Venice’s Teatro La Fenice opera house was filled with celebrities and song.

Salma Hayek and her French billionaire baby daddy Francois-Henri Pinault were married for the second time in a lavish event on Saturday.

The pair quietly wed at City Hall in Paris on Valentine’s Day but held a second ceremony and party for all of their friends and family.

The wedding took place on the second floor at the Teatro La Fenice, an opera house in Venice, Italy, on Saturday evening with guests arriving by boat with Venetian masks covering their faces.

The actress and her billionaire husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, had a small ceremony at the 6th Arrondisement City Hall in Paris on Valentine’s Day, but are having a second lavish event to celebrate with friends and family. 

Antonio Banderas announced at a press conference in Spain earlier this week that he plans to join wife Melanie Griffith in Venice, Italy for friend Hayek’s wedding this weekend. Other celebrities expected include Penélope Cruz and Luis Miguel.

Salma tied the knot with her on-again, off-again baby daddy, mega-millionaire French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, on Saturday at the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement.

The pair, who have a 16-month-old daughter, Valentina, originally announced their engagement in March 2007, but called it off in July of last year.

Congrats to the happy couple.

Tongues are wagging that Salma Hayek is back with her ex-fiance Francois-Henri Pinault after the couple was spotted together at his Balenciaga fashion show in Paris, France on Tuesday after being seen together in LA last week. Hayek and the French billionaire announced their split in July.

Reportedly they stood side by side at the fashion show, seeming friendly and happy. Wow. That's all it takes to get a rumor going?

Salma Hayek and French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault have called off their engagement.

"We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been canceled. There will be no further comment," Hayek's rep said in a statement.

We have to say, we never really understood what Salma, who previously dated men like Edward Norton and Josh Lucas, saw in Francois-Henri, so perhaps ditching this marriage is dodging a bullet.
