The vampire slayer will now trade in her stakes for diapers.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and her actor-husband Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed their first child together on Saturday, a daughter named Charlotte Grace.

Finally, a normal baby name. Charlotte The Vampire Slayer has a nice ring to it.

The new parents will have their hands full as Prinze gets ready to star in the upcoming season of 24.

Somehow, we can't imagine The Slayer playing party games.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, who, along with her husband Freddie Prinze Jr., is expecting her first child, took a break from filming The Wonderful Maladys yesterday afternoon to attend a baby shower held in her honor.

Still no word, unfortunately, on when The Chosen One will be born.

The people at Fox must have forgotten about Freddie.

Freddie Prinze Jr. is returning to TV as Jack Bauer's protege on the eighth season of 24.

Freddie and Sarah Michelle Gellar are both working again? Have we traveled back to the 90s?

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are expecting their first child together.

There goes the chance for a Buffy movie any time soon.

Sarah, 31, who married Freddie in 2002, is due in the fall.

Congratulations!

Either she’s getting bored of life at home with Freddie or those Buffy the Vampire Slayer residual checks are drying up, but Sarah Michelle Gellar is to return to TV in a new sitcom.

Gellar will star in a new comedy called The Wonderful Maladys.

The series is about the lives of dysfunctional siblings living in New York as they cope with losing their parents.

That sounds hilarious.

Nothing says comedy quite like a death in the family.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
