Katie Holmes arrived at the Independent Feature Project's 30th Year Celebration at the Cooper Square Hotel in New York City on Sunday in an Alexander McQueen silk halter top and pants and Givenchy heels.

It should have worked.

But it didn’t.

Katie’s style has become so blah, it’s visual Ambien.

Come on, girl, you’ve got all of Maverick’s Risky Business money to spend and you show up in a black satin keyhole halter and schlumpy oversized pants without so much as a dangly earring?

Booo.

Reese Witherspoon is becoming the iconic muse of Nina Ricci the way Audrey Hepburn was for Givenchy.

When she arrived at the 2007 Golden Globes, post-breakup from husband Ryan Phillippe, in a stunning yellow strapless Nina Ricci cocktail dress, ten pounds lighter and with bangin’ bangs, a star was reborn and a fashion house catapulted to the forefront.

Nina Ricci and Reese Witherspoon have been synonymous ever since.

Givenchy spokesmodel Liv Tyler is in Paris for the Haute Couture Fall/Winter ‘09 fashion show.  She was snapped with her sister Chelsea on their way to the Givenchy show.

How much does Chelsea look like her dad, Steven Tyler?!?!

She’s his spitting image. That’s insane.

The Tyler Family has an amazing gene pool. They are beautiful people.

Mmm mmm good!

Yesterday we saw Baby Daddy Justin Timberlake shopping until he dropped in Paris. Turns out he’s there to attend Givenchy's Party at Mini Palais on the Champs Elysees.

JT was recently named the face of Givenchy’s new fragrance, Play.

If you can handle it, check out the ads below. We recommend breathing into a brown paper bag to avoid passing out. The sexiness is OUT OF CONTROL!!!!!

That perfume could smell like a New York sidewalk in August and we’d still buy it by the case.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
