Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus could be set for a role in the Sex and the City sequel, according to reports.

The 16-year-old actress is said to be thrilled with the prospect of acting alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon.

Details of Miley's role are still unknown, but it is claimed she won't be discussing sex tips with Kim Cattrall's character as she has famously announced she will remain a virgin until she marries.

A Georgia man will be charged with the attempted stalking of Miley Cyrus, police said.

Fifty-three-year-old Mark McLeod was arrested a month ago for trying to meet Cyrus when she was on the set of her new film, The Last Song. The movie was being shot on Tybee Island, near Savannah.

Tybee Island Police Chief Jim Price said McLeod, who told officers he was secretly engaged to the 16-year-old Hannah Montana star, was arrested after Walt Disney Pictures security officers reported he was on the set and had ignored an earlier warning in June to stay away.

Now that she's tackled The Climb, Miley Cyrus wants to fly...like a bat.

The Hannah Montana star is apparently jockeying for the role of Batgirl in the upcoming sequel to the 2008 blockbuster The Dark Knight.

And she's really into it, according to the National Enquirer. She reportedly went so far as to show up to a producer's office dressed as the caped heroine.

Miley Cyrus made history this week.

The Hannah Montana star is the youngest singer ever to have three number one albums on The Billboard 200 Charts.

The 16-year-old’s latest album, the soundtrack for Hannah Montana: The Movie, hit #1 in its fourth week on the chart.

The record was previously held by 19-year-old Britney Spears.

Let’s hope this is the only way Miley follows in Britney’s footsteps.

Jamie Foxx, you know what they say about people in glass houses, right?

Over the weekend, Foxx went off on Miley Cyrus on his weekly radio show The Foxxhole.

You know, that radio show no one listened to or had even heard of until now.

He said the Hannah Montana star needed to “Make a sex tape and grow up,” that she needed a gum transplant and finally advised her to “Do some heroin... get some crack in your pipe.”

Nice.

The girl is 16!

Does it really matter if this movie is good or bad?

It’s Hannah Montana and if you already know the finer plot points of Miley Cyrus’ teen-by-day/popstar-by-night Disney Channel sensation, no review is keeping you from the theater no matter how subpar the filmmaking might be.

That’s not to say Hannah Montana: The Movie is terrible; it’s just not a cinematic achievement.

Gossip Sauce See It or Skip It: Hannah Montana: The Movie

Friday April 10, 2009

Only three years ago, a little show premiered on the Disney Channel. Mania followed. And now Hannah Montana: The Movie arrives in theaters. This is less of a review than it is a shout out since we're pretty sure fans have already decided to see it and haters/those over the age of 25 have already decided to skip it.

Last night Miley and her dad Billy Ray Cyrus arrived at the Hannah Montana: The Movie premiere at the El Capitan in Hollywood.

No, this isn’t the most flattering picture of Miley, but it absolutely melted our heart.

What people seem to forget, and this photo reminded us of, is that Miley’s just a 16-year-old girl growing up in the middle of the celebrity maelstrom.

Before the premiere, Miley was interviewed by Ryan Seacrest on his radio show yesterday and she was very candid, saying in ten years she want to be “a soccer mom slash Posh Spice.”

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
