It appears that Twilight fans are just as hungry as ever for more of their favorite vampires and werewolves.

Despite being almost universally panned by critics, New Moon's midnight showings yesterday shattered box office records, bringing in $26.3 million. The previous record-holder was this summer's Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which took in $22.2 million from its midnight viewing.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince has worked its magic at the box office this past weekend to the tune of millions of dollars.

The sixth installment of the wiz kid franchise grossed $107 million over its first three days after premiering this past Wednesday. That puts it ahead of its predecessors, but behind this summer's biggest opening so far, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which made $127.8 million in its first three days.

Harry Potter stars will wear white ribbons to the London premiere of their new film to remember their co-star who was stabbed to death last year.

Rob Knox was 18 years old when he was killed outside a bar in May last year. He had a small role in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince appearing in three scenes as Marcus Belby.

As a tribute to Rob, the stars of the film will be wearing the ribbons.

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were spotted filming scenes for the new Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, in London yesterday.

The Deathly Hallows is expected to be released in two parts, one in 2010, the second in 2011. Reportedly the second one will use Benjamin Button-type technology to age the actors so they can act out the story in the book, which takes place 19 years after the main adventure.

Remember when they were just wee tykes?

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
