Right on the heels of dropping two primetime shows, NBC has announced that Hillary Duff has signed a development deal with the network.

The singer and former Lizzie McGuire star will be meeting with writers and going through the pile of possible shows to find just the right vehicle. Let's hope they're not giving her the slush pile. Duff will also be guest starring in a number of NBC's current shows as part of the deal.
