Fans of Canadian singer-songwriter and poet Leonard Cohen in Valencia, Spain got more of a show than they bargained for or wanted this weekend.
Cohen, 74, collapsed on stage earlier today during a performance of his song "Bird on a Wire" in the Spanish city. He had apparently been complaining of stomach pains before the show.
Cohen was taken in an ambulance to the Nueve de Octubre hospital but was released soon after. He turns 75 on Monday.

After a weeklong stay, Farrah Fawcett was released from the hospital Thursday where she was being treated for internal bleeding not directly related to her cancer.
Fawcett, 62, had been hospitalized in Los Angeles since April 2nd. It was her latest bout of treatment in a battle with anal cancer, first diagnosed in 2006.
She was being treated for a hematoma from bleeding in a stomach muscle stemming from a “small procedure” at a clinic in Germany.

Just as Josh Hartnett was being released from an LA hospital, Farrah Fawcett was being admitted.
Fawcett, 62, best known for her work on Charlie's Angels and for her signature flipped hairstyle, checked into a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday as part of her ongoing battle with cancer.
She was originally diagnosed in 2006 and was in remission, but the disease returned in May of 2007.

Stacy Keach is recovering after a “mild stroke” earlier this week.
The 67-year-old TV and stage star was hospitalized in Los Angeles on Tuesday while on tour with the play Frost/Nixon where he portrays Richard Nixon.
He’s now in stable condition, and miraculously, his reps report he suffered no impairment in his motor or speech abilities.

Ed McMahon is in intensive care at an undisclosed Los Angeles hospital.
The 85-year-old has reportedly been hospitalized for almost a month and has pneumonia, bone cancer and other issues.
His condition is described as serious, and his wife and family members are present.
