The DTWS Curse is wreaking havoc on Steve-O.

The Jackass star had to sit out Monday’s Dancing with the Stars performance show after suffering a back injury during dress rehearsal with his partner Lacey Schwimmer.

Host Tom Bergeron explained that Steve-O, who is already dealing with pinched nerves in his back, “landed on his mic pack” while doing a front flip. “As a precaution,” Bergeron said “he went to the hospital to get checked out and he hopes to be back next week.”

Apparently ABC got sick of people spoiling their big cast reveal for Dancing with the Stars (sorry about that, ABC) and decided to start announcing their line up before it’s fully finalized.

The season eight cast was unveiled during commercial breaks in ABC’s Sunday night primetime lineup, starting with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and continuing through Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters.

Jackass star Steve-O announced he's "Back in the Looney Bin" on his Myspace page:

"I've now been clean for 115 days, and I'm, again, in a mental institution. I did so much cocaine, ketamine, pcp, nitrous oxide, and all sorts of other drugs, that, quite simply, my brain is f----d up."

Damn. That's a lot of really major drugs and he did A LOT of them.

He adds that he "frequently suffer[s] from horrible mood swings and severe depression."

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
