Now that we got our Kanye rant out of the way, we can talk about the good parts of MTV's Video Music Awards last night, and there were a lot!

Janet Jackson has finally broken her silence about her brother Michael's death nearly three months ago. In an exclusive interview with Harper's Bazaar, she says, "He loved to laugh...Sometimes his humor would be corny, sometimes dry. He loved the Three Stooges, he loved slapstick, he loved Eddie Muphy in his silly comedies. He loved to have fun.

Notice someone missing from Michael Jackson's funeral a few weeks ago? How about Janet Jackson's long-term boyfriend Jermaine Dupri?

Janet Jackson, 43, and Jermaine Dupri, 36, are reportedly parting ways after seven years together.

The split is being blamed on everything from their ages, to incompatability, to the difficulties in mixing business and pleasure.

Maybe she just never truly forgave him for throwing up on her.

The mystery illness that sidelined Janet Jackson for nine shows on her Rock Witchu Tour has been confirmed as migraine-related vertigo.

That sounds like hell. A migraine is excruciating enough, but a migraine mixed with constant dizziness is one of the outer rings of hell.

Poor JJ. Glad you’re on the mend, doll.

After a mysterious illness forced Janet Jackson to postpone a string of shows, she’s set to resume her Rock Witchu Tour this weekend.

"Janet, who has been under her doctor's care and recuperating over the last week, is excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever," says a statement from promoter Live Nation.

Her return to the stage will be on Saturday in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Janet Jackson has been forced to postpone three more shows on her Rock Wichu Tour because of an undisclosed illness that landed her in the hospital last week after doctors decided she hadn’t fully recovered.

What the hell is wrong with her?

The shows put on hold were Saturday’s in Greensboro, N.C., Sunday's in Atlanta and Tuesday’s in Fort Lauderdale. That makes the total number of shows cancelled five including concerts in Boston and Philadelphia earlier in the week. Fans have been told to hold on to their tickets pending a future announcement of rescheduled shows.

Janet Jackson was released from Montreal hospital, just hours after she was admitted on Monday, after being struck suddenly ill during a pre-Rock Witchu concert sound check.

Sources close to the singer say the issue was exhaustion.

"A 42-year-old body can't handle what a 22-year-old body can. I can tell you that she's definitely tired. It was probably exhaustion. She is doing back-to-back, three-hour shows, and her body isn't the same as it used to be."

Janet Jackson has been hospitalized for an unnamed illness. The singer was performing a sound check on her Rock Witchu Tour before a scheduled show in Montreal when she suddenly became extremely ill and was rushed to the hospital.

She is currently being monitored but no details of her condition have been released. She plans on rescheduling the show for a later date.

We’ve got money that says it was either the flu or some kind of weight loss related issue. You know Janet takes it to extremes to get it tight and right before she goes onstage.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
