The Green Hornet is getting one step closer to making it to a theater near you.

Taiwanese singer and actor Jay Chou has been cast as Kato, the sidekick to Seth Rogen's Green Hornet. Hong Kong actor Stephen Chow was originally slated to fill the role made famous by Bruce Lee in the 1960s TV series, but he dropped out earlier this year.

"Jay is incredibly unique and charming and fights like a wild dog," the film's director, Michel Gondry said.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!
