Just ask Oprah! We swear that's what she said. The talk show queen interviewed him for the most recent issue of her O magazine. On her bff Gayle King's radio show, she said about the rapper: "I could smell him on me and I was like, 'Oh, my, this is wonderful."

R&B singer Rihanna will team up with five leading music stars as she works on her "legendary" album, according to reports.

The 20-year-old star had planned to duet with her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, but the plan was shelved after they split following his assault on her.

It is now claimed that Jay-Z, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams and Soulja Boy are set to work with her.

Ticketless fans have been warned to stay away from Michael Jackson's star-studded memorial service amid fears of riots.

Los Angeles police have urged people not to head to the Staples Center in the city's downtown area for tomorrow's event unless they are guaranteed entry.

Authorities fear that up to one million fans will descend on the city.

More than 1.6 million people entered a lottery to get tickets, but only 17,500 were successful.

Rapper Jay-Z reportedly stepped in to stop Chris Brown's potential performance at Sunday night's BET Awards show.

Organizers of the Black Entertainment Television event wanted the R & B singer to appear, but Jay-Z – real name Shawn Carter – felt it was too soon after Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna earlier this month and reportedly threatened to snub the Los Angeles broadcast himself unless Brown was axed.

Everyone knows we can’t stand Beyonce.

Yes, occasionally her songs will burrow into our brain and soul, running in a continuous loop for days and weeks on end, forcing us to sing and dance to them.

But we always feel dirty in the morning.

It’s not her music we hate, it’s her. With her faux humility and general veneer, we have no doubt she’s a see-you-next-Tuesday kind of diva.

Jay-Z, who discovered Rihanna and signed her to his Def-Jam label, was asked about the abuse she suffered by Chris Brown while in Phoenix at his third annual “Two Kings dinner with Jay-Z and Lebron James,” which is part of the NBA All-Star Weekend.

“You have to have compassion for others,” Jay-Z said. “Just imagine it being your sister or mom and then think about how we should talk about that. I just think we should all support her. She’s going through a tough time. You have to realize she’s a young girl, as well. She’s very young.”

What does it take to override the Secret Service on Inauguration Day? Beyonce Knowles' DIVA powers, apparently.

Earlier this week Beyonce and husband Jay-Z were in DC rehearsing for her concert honoring the Inauguration of Barack Obama (woo!), when she was told she would have to walk a whole four blocks in the cold and in heels (gasp!) to get to their car because the surrounding streets were closed off in preparation for the big event.

This is the definition of dope!

Jay-Z got to rock Ryan Lochte’s Olympic medals while teaching him how to throw the Roc-A-Fella diamond cutter hand sign on the red carpet of the annual Global Leadership Awards Gala at The Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan on Wednesay.

Lochte’s all about grills and being the thuggish-ruggish bone, we hope Hov was able to give him tips on how to properly big pimp and what to do when you have 99 problems (but a bitch ain’t one).

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
