Forget Survivor! Dancing with the Stars is the most dangerous show on television! The show doesn't even start until next week, and already two of the "stars" are injured.

Someone isn't in the mood for a little dirty dancing.

Kelly Ripa's husband, former All My Children hunk Mark Consuelos has reportedly been approached by the producers of Dancing With the Stars to appear on the next season of the show. He very much declined.

She’s been a contender from the beginning but Melissa Rycroft is the most recent competitor on Dancing with the Stars to be felled by the Dancing Curse.

This season it’s taken out Jewel, Nancy O’Dell and had its way with Steve-O.

Now, after topping the leader board last week with her Argentine tango, Melissa had to sit out of Monday’s performance show because of an injury.

After performances by Big Bad VooDoo Daddy and Jewel, which Chelsie and Dmitry did a beautiful ballroom-meets-modern dance to, the bottom two couples were announced and, for the first time, they had to dance for their survival.

The bottom two couples were Steve Wozniak and Karina, no surprise, and Belinda Carlisle and Jonathan.

That’s right, Steve-O avoided the bottom two and elimination.

After getting dropped like a bad habit by Jason Mesnick on the season finale of The Bachelor, Melissa Rycroft now has a new distinction besides having been on the losing end of the most inconsiderate dumping in history.

She’s joining the cast of Dancing With the Stars.

Jewel took to her blog yesterday to express her sorrow about not being able to compete on Dancing with the Stars and revealed her injury wasn’t tendonitis, it was two fractured legs.

Yowza!

After weeks battling tendonitis in her knee, even taking steroids in a hope to combat the injury, Jewel is said to be dropping out of Dancing with the Stars.

Stepping into her dancing shoes?

Holly Madison, Hef’s former number one girlfriend on The Girls Next Door who recently took up with and then broke up with illusionist Criss Angel .

ABC hasn’t yet released an official statement.

Bummer.

Dancing with the Stars injures more celebrities than Chris Brown, Mike Tyson and David O. Russell combined.

Actor Gilles Marini, the least starry of the stars, who appeared in the Sex and the City movie for a split second, had to seek treatment on Friday for a sharp pain in his groin.

Sexxxy.

Marini, 33, apparently has tendonitis in his groin and shoulder.

What has his partner Cheryl Burke been doing to that guy?

Despite the injury, he’ll be fine for premiere night on Monday, March 9th.

The Dancing with the Stars couples have been unveiled and they are:

Super lucky Lil’ Kim and our man Derek Hough (swoon).

A cozy-looking real-life couple Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough.

Cougar-licious Belinda Carlisle and Jonathan Roberts.

David Alan Grier spotting awful Don Juan de Marco facial hair and Kym Johnson.

Bizarrely well-suited Steve-O and Lacey Schwimmer.

Denise Richards (yuck) and Maksim Chmerkovskiy (why are we the only one who finds him totally groody?).

Sure-thing Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas.

Apparently ABC got sick of people spoiling their big cast reveal for Dancing with the Stars (sorry about that, ABC) and decided to start announcing their line up before it’s fully finalized.

The season eight cast was unveiled during commercial breaks in ABC’s Sunday night primetime lineup, starting with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and continuing through Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
