The Sex and the City movie sequel is having big problems.
As in Mr. Big.
While the film already has a release date (May 28th, 2010), it doesn’t have a completed script, a start date for filming or a key member of its cast locked down.
Former Sex and the City star John Corbett says he wants to reprise his role as Aidan for the film’s sequel.
Duh. Of course he does. Can you imagine how fat the residual checks are? The first Sex movie may have sucked, but it made BANK!
Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall recently confirmed plans for a follow up to the crappy film, which followed up the fabulous show. Corbett, who played Carrie Bradshaw’s fiancé, Aidan Shaw (who didn’t absolutely love Aidan?), wants back in.
He lived happily ever after with Bo Derek and never gave Carrie a second thought.
John Corbett, aka Aidan from Sex and the City, arrives at Saturday’s 30th Anniversary Carousel Of Hope Ball at the Beverly Hilton Hotel with his longtime girlfriend, the original perfect "10", Bo Derek, looking foxy!
He must be shaping up for his leading role opposite Toni Collette in Showtime’s new series The United States of Tara developed by indie It Girl Diablo Cody and produced by Steven Spielberg. It's gonna be awesome.
Is there no stopping her? Hollywood’s latest darling, Diablo Cody has another feather in her cap; Showtime has ordered 12 half-hour episodes of The United States of Tara, a comedy by the Oscar-winning screenwriter of Juno.
Toni Collette stars as a wife and mother with dissociative identity disorder. John Corbett (Aiden from Sex and the City) plays her husband.
