While promoting his new film Quantum of Solace (which we can’t wait to tell you about Friday), Daniel Craig was asked which celebrity, living or dead, he would like to be friends with.

“Ian Fleming? No I couldn’t take it with all the smoking and drinking and smoking and drinking. It would have been lovely to have met Kennedy. Queen Elizabeth the First, to at least walk into the room and have a peek. I don’t know that you would’ve gotten within a hundred yards of her but that certainly would’ve been interesting. Ummm…John Lennon!”

Sir Elton John sounds delicious!

The music legend has been honored with a delectable tribute placing him amongst such noble ranks as the *Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia, Phish, Dave Matthews and John Lennon  - his own flavor of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.

The socially conscious (and absolutely delicious) ice cream giant has created Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road in the Rocket Man’s honor with all profits from sales being donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Maggie Gyllenhaal teamed up with Jerry Greenfield of Ben & Jerry's ice cream fame to announce a new flavor created in association with the John Lennon Estate: "Imagine Whirled Peace," caramel and sweet cream ice creams whirled with fudge peace signs and toffee cookie pieces.

Inspired by John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s "Bed-In" to promote peace and love in 1969, Ben & Jerry's decided to stage a week long Peace Bed-In in NYC this week.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
