Old hat.

For the second time, People has named Johnny Depp as its Sexiest Man Alive. Last year they picked Hugh Jackman. Depp had won in 2003 too. (See the covers from now and then above.)

It's nice to have friends in high tax brackets.

Johnny Depp has reportedly offered to help Nicolas Cage out with his current financial troubles because Cage helped to get Depp his first big role back when he was just a struggling musician.

The holiday season can be stressful enough on its own without throwing awkward encounters with your ex into the mix.

Which is why we're surprised to hear that Johnny Depp and his wife, Vanessa Paradis, have invited Johnny's ex, Kate Moss, and her boyfriend, Jamie Hince, to spend the holidays with them on Depp's private 45-acre island in the Bahamas.

Well, that sounds uncomfortable.

We're really hoping that this turns into some kind of reality show.

Planning for the fourth installment of the Pirates of The Caribbean has already begun, but it's being done without one of its biggest stars.

Orlando Bloom is reportedly bowing out of the latest installment of the Pirates franchise. He played blacksmith Will Turner in the previous three wildly popular films.

“Orlando loved the films but thinks it’s time to bow out because they tied up nicely for his character Will Turner,” a source has said.

Winona Ryder may not be appearing in a sequel of Heathers after all.

Winona, 37, has often spoken about a sequel to the hit film, where she played murderess Veronica Sawyer, but director Michael Lehmann and writer Dan Waters are not planning another flick.

"Winona brings it up every once in a while, and Dan Waters and I will joke about it, but as far as I know, there's no script and no plans to do the sequel," Lehmann said.

What we would have given to witness this.

Stars have long been drawn to the UK's biggest and muddiest music festival, Glastonbury. On Friday, Johnny Depp surpassed them all by actually performing there. Johnny surprised a few lucky festival goers by playing guitar in a small impromptu gig at the festival's Green Fields area.

An MTV reporter just happened to be there, and he twittered:

Johnny Depp is playing in a tiny cafe in the greenfields -about 30 people here. Crazy!"

Johnny Depp was spotted and mobbed by female fans at Da Silvano Diner after his appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman in NYC.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star is promoting his new movie Public Enemies where he stars as the notorious 1930s gangster, John Dillinger.

We love Jack Sparrow’s eccentric style!

Smokin' Hot!

Actress Amber Heard (Pineapple Express) was snapped at the LA premiere of Public Enemies starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale.

No wonder why she is smiling, she looks flawless!

And who wouldn't be happy about starring alongside Depp in the upcoming Hunter S. Thompson novel-turned-film, The Rum Diary.

Golf Claps!

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
