Angelina Jolie and her father Jon Voight have finally reunited after being estranged since 2001.

No word on what changed for Jolie, but they have been in touch over e-mail and phone for many months and finally met up in Venice last week, along with Brad Pitt and the kids.

The feud is over! The word on the street is that Angelina Jolie and her father, Jon Voight, are patching things up.

She said: "We're in contact now and writing letters. My parents gave me a strong social conscience as well as any acting genes I may have."

Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight, 69, is joining the cast of 24 as a new villain.

In a statement, the Midnight Cowboy star said, "I am thrilled and excited about being invited to be part of my favorite show 24. I'm hoping to bring my very best to it."

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!
