The truth is, we stopped watching ER about ten seasons ago but last night, with the return of Dr. Doug Ross, we had to tune in.

And we spent half the episode, titled “Old Times” asking “WTF?”

Eric LaSalle and Noah Wyle all BFF while Noah gets a kidney transplant? John Stamos whizzing in and out of scenes with Ernest Borgnine? Some super hot Australian dude who’s the love child of Jonathan Tucker and Simon Baker?

Yesterday afternoon we were chugging up Runyon Canyon with our friend John on a glorious winter day.

The sun was setting in brilliant peaches, pinks and oranges, it was 83 degrees in January, a breeze was blowing, the birds were chirping and Josh Peck from Drake & Josh and The Wackness passed us with his buddy.

It was a good day in LA.

But it was about to get better.

At the top of one particularly grueling hill which we like to call The Matterhorn, we realized we’d left John behind.

...in a movie at least.
