Even though Jon and Kate Gosselin’s 10-year marriage has ended, the reality show lives on!
Blah.
TLC announced that the reality show, Jon and Kate Plus 8 will be renamed to Kate Plus 8 beginning on November 2nd.
The show will continue to focus on the lives of the Gosselin twins, 8, and the 5-year-old sextuplets. But now there will be a new direction: Kate’s struggles as a single mom. (Give us a break!)
What is with these people exactly? Please raise your hand if you're tired of Jon Gosselin, because we are for sure. (And we're not so fond of Kate either.)
Jon and Kate Plus 8 ratings have been plunging quicker than they rose when the couple first showed signs of splitting. Last week's episode had 60 percent fewer viewers than the June season finale in which the Gosselin couple announced their divorce.
This restores our faith in America somewhat. Has anyone watched that show? BORING. And now it's not even about a cute family anymore, it's about two monsters ruining their children's lives.
The saddest part is that the attention, and later loss of interest, has turned Jon and especially Kate a bit desperate.
