In case anyone cares, Justin Guarini is getting married this weekend, he's announced. He's marrying Reina Capodici. They went to high school together in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
Perez Hilton got punched in the eye multiple times by will.i.am's manager.
Kelly Clarkson has had to face the ugly side of the Internet recently, in the form of malicious commentary about her weight.
Well, the original American Idol is taking it in stride and prefers to focus on helping girls with similar dilemmas. She told Reader’s Digest:
The first two singers were eliminated from competition last night on American Idol.
So who had to face the music?
After announcing the new Judges’ Save rule, Idol went straight into cuts and Jasmine Murray and Megan Joy Corkery were the first two singers in jeopardy.
Unfortunately nasal, odd-ball, Amy Winehouse-wannabe Corkery is safe and Jasmine is the first singer on the verge of being sent home from American Idol’s Top 13.
We’ve been saying it for weeks now and Simon Cowell agrees.
American Idol will once again crown a man champion.
“[It will be a] boy this year,” Cowell said at the Elton John Aids Foundation Oscar party on Sunday night. “I think it’s a dude too,” said Randy Jackson.
Well, duh, we’ve been saying that all along.
Our fingers are crossed for Normal Gentle (aka: Nick Mitchell)!
Best Idol contestant since Kelly Clarkson!!!

You know why Kelly Clarkson is awesome?
Not only can the girl sing her ass off, but she’s funny, down to earth, smart and willing to admit “they Photoshopped the crap out of me” on the cover of her new album, All I Ever Wanted.
“No girl is perfect,” she told a group of pre-teen girls gathered in Nashville on February 11th for a self-esteem workshop sponsored by Dove. “Just to let you know everyone in the magazines is Photoshopped! Beyoncé is one of the most beautiful girls in the world, but she gets Photoshopped too. We’re all human!”
Hello, sailor!
We had no idea who this guy was, just that he attended last night’s Rock the Kasbah 2008 fundraising gala for Virgin Unite, a nonprofit foundation of Sir Richard Branson's dedicated to developing sustainable approaches to forgotten and overlooked social and environmental issues, at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel alongside celebs like Charlize Theron, Selma Hayek and Jewel.
Does anyone remember Justin Guarini?
He came in second to Kelly Clarkson on American Idol’s first season. But unlike Clay Aiken (who was the silver medalist to Ruben Studdard’s gold), Guarini went from toast of the town to punchline.
Case in point: Justin Guarini performs a free show at Universal Citywalk in Los Angeles yesterday. For those unfamiliar, Citywalk is a big outdoor mall. Justin Guarini has sunk to Tiffany’s level.
No words necessary, the look on his face says it all.
