Keeping up with the Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian has confirmed reports she is expecting her first child at Christmas.

The 30-year-old, who is the older sister of "model" Kim Kardashian, said: "We were in the Everglades and I kept feeling nauseous and sick. I just kept thinking something wasn't right... I went to the doctor and he confirmed the news. I was just so shocked."

Kourtney said that her mother is "really excited" by the news.
