What is wrong with the world?!

The Hills’ diva (oh, we mean former Hills' diva) Lauren Conrad has snagged the film deal she hinted at weeks ago for her book, L.A. Candy. Temple Hill Entertainment has acquired the screen rights to the novel.

Say it ain't so...

Lauren Conrad, former reality star of The Hills, says that her two-weeks-in-a-row #1 New York Times best seller, L.A. Candy, may be adapted into a film soon.

Kate Moss is set to follow in the venerable footstep of The Hills star Lauren Conrad by "writing" a crappy novel.

Moss is teaming with former singer Louise Wener to pen a "fictional account of a young female model’s life as she is plucked from obscurity and thrust into the A-list limelight."

Sounds kind of like how the main character in Conrad's L.A. Candy is a young woman who moves to Hollywood and becomes a reality TV star, no?

Well, I guess we know what Lauren Conrad will be doing with all of her free time, now that she's leaving The Hills.

Conrad has penned a novel, entitled L.A. Candy, about a girl named Jane who "moves to Hollywood and ends up the star of her own reality show," which will be out in June.

Sound familiar?

"Some of the characters may symbolize people in my life," Conrad has stated publicly, "but it is in no way calling anyone out."

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
