Poor Sandra Bullock! (Has anyone ever said that before?) She's only hours away from probably getting her first Oscar nomination for The Blind Side. The movie has made more money than any other she's been in before, topping The Proposal which also came out last year. It was a big year for Ms. Bullock.
But, she also made a third movie. And no one will let her forget about it.
According to Forbes, Will Ferrell tops the list of overpaid stars. For every dollar he is paid, his movies only make $3.29. Shia LaBeouf's films, for example, make $160 per dollar he is paid. (He's on the mag's Best Stars for the Buck list.)
Will Ferrell’s new film, Land of the Lost, is shockingly unfunny, unyieldingly grating and part of a disturbing new trend in Hollywood: the repellent leading man. Like Seth Rogen in Observe and Report, Ferrell spends the entire film doing everything in his power to be entirely unlikable, all the while winking at the camera as if the audience is in on the joke.
The sad thing is, this isn’t a joke anyone would want to be a part of.
