An inquiry into Michael Jackson's death is now a criminal investigation, with manslaughter officially suspected by authorities.

No suspect has been named, but authorities have closed in on Conrad Murray, Jackson's personal doctor at the time of his death.

The Houston cardiologist, who was at Jackson's side tending to him when he died, has remained close to his Las Vegas home as authorities conducted searches of his Houston office and a storage unit, searching for evidence to explain the pop singer's sudden death at 50.

TMZ is reporting that the woman whose three page text message ignited the beating Chris Brown gave Rihanna was Chris’ manager, Tina Davis.

Davis, a big-time cougar at 40, allegedly had a relationship with Brown when he was 16, something both parties deny (as would we, since that’s both illegal and gross).

Wanna read something that will give you nightmares?

Here are the LAPD’s notes following Chris Brown’s life threatening assault on Rihanna.

Be prepared, it’s extremely upsetting.

But, as your reading, ask yourself; is this someone whose career I want to support?

Rihanna is refered to by her real name, Robyn F (for Ford), throughout.

The LAPD detectives’ notes in the case against Chris Brown are horrifying and sickening.

According to Rihanna, Chris had been physically violent in the past and the abuse had been escalating (as it always does) for some time.

On the night everyone became aware that Chris Brown is an abusive prick, their argument started after Rihanna read a three-page text message on Brown’s phone from another woman.

No charges will be filed against Brad Garrett following a police investigation of the actor, who was accused of attacking a paparazzo.

LAPD looked into claims that the comic chased one paparazzo before allegedly breaking another’s camera and decided…

The paparazzi were asking for it.

Look, li’l ol’ Ben McKenzie finally got a job after The OC. Good for him! The only major role he’s had since that show went off the air was 88 Minutes with Al Pacino and that thing was a stinkeroo.

Ben plays a police officer in a pilot called LAPD. He better hope it gets picked up but even if it does, do you remember Dragnet with Ethan Embry?

That’s our point exactly. Ben McKenzie needs to prove that he’s not the acting equivalent of Debbie Gibson; a one-hit wonder whose fame fades with the hormones of puberty.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
