Taking in over $70 Million, Star Trek easily claimed the top spot at the box office this weekend.

That’s because it’s the BAP!

All hail Chris Pine.

We've decided he's Leo DiCaprio meets Matt Damon. And we like it.

While many stars would never shill for ice cream, cars, coffee or liquor in America, plenty of them do it overseas, a la Bill Murray in Lost in Translation.

Orson Welles, Audrey Hepburn, Leonardo DiCaprio, Keanu Reeves, Ben Stiller and George Clooney have all done Japanese ads but never American ones.

Yesterday director Spike Jonze, Lost in Translation director Sophia Coppola’s ex-husband, was shooting a commercial for Japanese cell phone company Softbank with Brad Pitt in Midtown Manhattan.

How else can Brad afford six babies?

Leonardo DiCaprio, his BFF Tobey Maguire and Dreamworks cofounder Jeffery Katzenberg were front and center last night as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Utah Jazz 107-96 in game five of the first round of NBA Playoffs at the Staples Center in downtown LA.

Do you have any idea how much cheddar is stacked on those three seats?

Between just Spider-Man (1-3), Titanic and Shrek (1-3), those three men have made Hollywood $3.98 BILLION dollars.

Yes, billion, with a B!

And that’s just a few of their credits.

Can Zac Efron be an action hero?

And, more importantly, does he want to be?

The LA Times is reporting that Zac is thiiiis close to signing on for a live action version of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon Jonny Quest.

This could either be his Batman or his Speed Racer.

And is that really the role Zac, who’s trying to break away from High School Musical-esque teen fluff, wants to do?

DiCaprio says, “By bidding on these items at ebay.com/globalgreen, people will help Global Green combat climate change and pursue important environmental imperatives, such as greening our nation’s schools, housing, cities and more.”

Zac Efron is GQ’s May cover boy and it’s yet another feast for the eyes and mind.

Sigh.

The interview is delightfully candid, with Zac spilling details about his high school years, the advice Leonardo DiCaprio gave him and his marriage plans.

Remember those adorable pictures of Leonardo DiCaprio and Zac Efron at a Lakers game together?

In his new interview with Elle Magazine, Zac-y Pooh talks about his first meeting with Leo and explains how those photos came to be taken.

“[When we first met] I was all, ‘Oh, hey!’ And he turned around and right there I had the ‘in’. And I was like, ‘I’m a big fan… I’d love to sit down and talk with you sometime.’ And he goes, ‘Right on.’

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
