Bijou Phillips and boyfriend Danny Masterson (in the far back, over Bijou’s left shoulder) leave the Van Nuys police station after visiting Bijou’s half sister Mackenzie Phillips who was arrested on drugs charges Wednesday morning after she was found in possession of what was allegedly cocaine and heroin while passing through security at LAX.

Former One Day at a Time star Mackenzie Phillips, 48, was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday on suspicion of drug possession.

While being screened by airport security they found baggies and balloons believed to be heroin and cocaine. She was arrested at around 10am, booked at the Van Nuys police station and bail was set at $10,000.

The actress, daughter of legendary Mamas & Papas singer John Phillips, has a long history of drug addiction and failed rehabilitation. We hope she gets the help she needs.
