Dancing with the Stars reached the halfway point last night and the couples were confronted with the Rumba and the Jive. That meant it was all about bringing it hot and fast.

We’ve barely begun the fourth week of Dancing with the Stars Season 8, but Season 6 champ Kristi Yamaguchi has already picked her frontrunners, especially in light of all the Dancing injuries.

“The injuries aren’t surprising,” Yamaguchi said. “People don’t know how physical it gets. I think that’s one reason why athletes do well — they know how to listen to their bodies.”

A man accused of stalking Olympic champion and bitchin’ ballroom dancer Shawn Johnson was arrested Monday near the Los Angeles set of Dancing with the Stars.

Derek and his Dancing with the Stars cohort and BFF, Mark Ballas, will be performing with their band, the Ballas Hough Band, at the Grove in LA every Tuesday for the next few weeks.

Dancing with the Stars pro Mark Ballas and former American Idol contestant, who got booted for being too pro, Joanna Pacitti are a couple.
The pair, who have been friends for years, began dating eight months ago when Ballas was training with Season Six champ Kristi Yamaguchi in North Carolina, where Pacitti was living at the time.

DWTS Elimination Night always sucks. ABC makes us suffer through sixty minutes to reach the 10 seconds when they announce who’s cut. Making last night even suckier: one of the first safe couples.

Olympic ice princess Kristi Yamaguchi, 36, and her partner Mark Ballas were crowned the winners of this season’s DWTS, beating out Edyta Sliwinska and super smokeshow, Miami Dolphins football star, Jason Taylor.

Could that man be any more stunning? No!
