No, no, Douglas hasn't left Catherine Zeta-Jones and switched teams. He is playing Liberace in Steven Soderbergh's upcoming biopic, and Damon will be playing his lover.

Don't believe the rumors: Matt Damon is alive and well.

A story was going around last week, citing TMZ as the source, that Damon had died in a camping accident. The weird thing is that TMZ never actually reported this story. It's totally made up.

The very much alive Damon has been making the rounds for his new movie The Informant, which will be in theatres on Friday.

For his upcoming role as a mentally unstable whistleblower in The Informant (out September 18), Matt Damon told Entertainment Weekly that he happily gained 30 pounds.

“I definitely got doughy,” Matt, now back to his original lean physique, said. “I started eating like crazy and drinking dark beer. Between meals on set, I’d eat a No. 1 Value Meal at McDonald's and then Doritos on top of it. It was absolute heaven.”

Christian Bale is stepping into the boxing ring with Mark Wahlberg.

The two have signed on to co-star in Darren Aronofsky’s new film The Fighter, his follow up to The Wrestler.

We’re sensing a theme here.

Bale will play troubled, crack-addicted real-life boxer Dicky Eklund and Wahlberg will play his half-brother, also a boxer, “Irish” Mickey Ward.

This bad boy has Oscar written all over it.

Matt Damon and Brad Pitt were originally signed on to star.

J.J. Abrams revealed that Matt Damon said no to playing Captain James T. Kirk in the new Star Trek film. Plans have been made to unleash both the smoke monster and William Shatner on him...

In a new interview with Life Magazine Abrams admits Damon was his first choice for the starring role of Kirk but insists he’s thrilled with the casting of currently lesser known Chris Pine instead.

Johnny Depp (1990).

Brad Pitt (1993).

Matt Damon (1998).

Heath Ledger (2001).

Ryan Gosling (2004).

And now, Chris Pine.

Following in a long list of hot-ass dudes, Pine, who steps into the Shatner role in this summer’s Star Trek film, will be honored with the ShoWest Male Star of Tomorrow at the annual cinema owners convention in Las Vegas in April.

Last year, the award was given to Emile Hirsch…when they thought Speed Racer was going to be a major blockbuster.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
