Out Magazine has announced it's Class of 2009, and Adam Lambert is the Breakout Star of the year. We wonder who the other candidates were, since he's really the only openly gay new pop star we can think of.

After ninety-nine episodes, will we finally get to meet The Mother on How I Met Your Mother? Sources say, well, maybe.

The writers have been teasing us through five seasons and we're closer to knowing her identity than we've ever gotten before, now that we know that she's in Ted's class (he's teaching architecture for those of you who aren't caught up).

Neil Patrick Harris may have lost the actual award to Jon Cryer (WHAT?!?), but the show's MC was clearly the big winner last night. It was he most entertaining Emmys show in years, even if the awards were pretty boring.

Neil Patrick Harris aka Doogie Houser is a working actor, again!

Hooray!

NPH just hosted the Tony Awards, and now has landed two movie roles.

And neither will feature White Castle, bummer.

Our favorite teen-genius M.D. will be starring in an indie entitled The Best and the Brightest and will appear alongside Vanessa Hudgens in Beastly.

With all the remakes, we want Doogie Houser, M.D. to hit the big screen.

Make it happen, pretty please!

And no we don’t mean his career or that he’s hot, nor do we mean he’s flaming, we mean he was actually, physically ON FIRE.

Doogie luckily escaped serious injury when his tuxedo caught fire during a run-through of his opening number as host of the TV Land Awards this weekend.

Britney Spears might return to How I Met Your Mother according to The Hollywood Reporter.

With Spears making her second guest appearance on the suddenly popular CBS comedy, the show's co-creator Craig Thomas explains that Monday's episode was written to leave the door open for the pop singer to make a return appearance next season.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
