New York City

The New York City Marthon was this weekend and the stars came out for it (some of them anyway).

Edward Norton and Anthony Edwards, who are in better shape than we ever thought, finished in under four hours, and Alanis Morisette came in just under four-and-a-half.

Watch out, ladies of New York. There's a wild man on the loose and he may very well charm you to death and straight into his bedroom.

That's right, Russell Brand is in town. The hilarious and lovely Brit was photographed filming his upcoming film Get Him to the Greek, the sequel to Forgetting Sarah Marshall, in Central Park yesterday.

Too bad he doesn't have Edward Cullen's stopping-a-car-with-his-bare-hands power in real life.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson was grazed by a taxi cab in New York City on Thursday afternoon while filming his latest project, Remember Me, as he ran from a crowd of over-excited fans.

Pattinson was reportedly clipped on the hip, but walked away from the scene and didn't require medical attention.

We've heard of fans loving a star to death, but this might just be taking things a bit far.

Goldie Hawn put on a show for everyone in New York City last night, but she wasn't on the stage or the screen.

Hawn, 63, was photographed exiting her car last night in New York as the straps of her tiny slip dress slid down and the hem rode up.

When her driver and assistant pointed it out to her, she fixed her wardrobe malfunction with a big laugh and a smile.

We'd laugh too if we looked that good at that age and had just given a couple of men the thrill of their lives.

Rihanna, who we're so glad to hear is NOT doing a duet with Chris Brown, was spotted looking beautiful and having dinner with some friends last night at Da Silvano in New York.

We're glad she has some real support and that Chris Brown is nowhere in sight.

We thought Tyra calling you "too commercial" was the worst thing that could happen during an audtion for America's Next Top Model.

At a casting call for the show's 13th Cycle, which will feature "models" under 5-feet-7-inches in height, held in New York City yesterday a fight between some of the hopefuls and a broken down car created a stampede which left six people injured, two in the hospital, and three under arrest.

Check out real-life Gossip Girl couple Penn Badgley and Blake Lively, snapped while they were out celebrating Penn's 22nd birthday in New York City yesterday.

The two went for a bite to eat at "A Salt & Battery" fish and chips shop and something to sip on at "Tea & Sympathy." That sounds like a pretty tame b-day - if they're anything like their on-screen characters, you know there were a whole lotta martinis being enjoyed last night.

Happy Birthday, Penn!

Doesn't this photo make you all warm and fuzzy inside?

An extremely pregnant Naomi Watts and her ridiculously hot baby daddy Liev Schreiber were snapped yesterday while out for a walk in New York City and enjoying the Fall weather with their son, Alexander. Naomi appears to be due any minute and she couldn't look any more adorable.

We're hoping they'll adopt us next.

Celebrity couples love New York in the fall.

Uma Thurman and her fiance, Arpad Busson, went out for a romantic stroll through New York's West Village yesterday, stopping only to smooch on the sidewalk and get a little shopping in.

Gossip Girl stars and real-life couple Penn Badgley and Blake Lively had a similar idea,  braving the chilly temperatures on their way to lunch at Saint Ambroeus.

Who wants to hop-scotch down Park Avenue?

Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and Jay-Z joined forces Thursday afternoon to announce that for the next three Saturdays, from 7am to 1pm, vehicle traffic will be replaced along seven miles of city streets by New Yorkers and visitors taking leisurely strolls, going for a bike ride or taking part in organized activities such as aikido, salsa dancing, tai-chi, running, rollerblading and hopscotch.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
