Ugly Betty star Anna Ortiz, 38, had a baby girl over the weekend.

The actress and her husband, Noah Lebenzon welcomed their first child, Paloma Louise Lebenzon, in NYC on Saturday.

Prior to the big day Ortiz said she was feeling anxious, but well prepared. "My husband's phone number is on speed dial, my deep yoga breaths have been practiced and my bags are all packed except for the toothbrushes, so I'm all set. I'm ready to have the baby!"

Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz is expecting her first child at the end of July.

Ortiz, 37, and her husband Noah Lebenzon, 38, the guitarist for the band Half Life, were married in June 2007.

This means the Ugly Betty writers are going to have to come up with some new sucky subplot to explain either her bump or her “sudden disappearance” like they did with Rebecca Romijn when she got knocked up with twins.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
