Lauren Graham is tired of being seen as less than a success because she's still single. But the former Gilmore Girl and star of the upcoming new show Parenthood isn't worried.
What happens When in Rome doesn't stay in Rome. (That almost worked, right?)
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard met on the set while filming the movie and now the couple are engaged. We don't know any other details.
Ever since we heard that Maura Tierney wouldn't be able to star on Parenthood because of her cancer treatments (hope you're doing okay, Maura!), we've been wondering who they could possibly get to replace her. She's pretty great, so they would need to find someone pretty great to fill that hole.
First the rumor was Helen Hunt, and we were pretty eh about that.
We were a little perplexed when NBC pushed back Parenthood, one of it's most promising new series to the mid-season, until we heard the reason. Maura Tierney, who we loved on ER and Newsradio, was undergoing surgery for breast cancer, and the show was waiting for her. It's sad today to find out that she won't be continuing on the show due to her treatments.
Maura Tierney, 44, will undergo surgery for a breast tumor.
The actress who made her name on NBC’s ER as Abby Lockheart spoke out in a press release from NBC Universal announcing that Tierney was ill and that her treatment would delay the production of her new series, Parenthood, previously scheduled to premiere Sept. 23, but now pushed to mid-season.
We were just talking to a friend about how we were starting to suspect that Joaquin Phoenix’s recently announced “rap career” was a big fat joke and now Entertainment Weekly has proof.
The magazine says Phoenix’s new career is all part of an elaborate hoax.
The two-time Oscar nominee recently announced he was turning his back on acting to follow his musical dreams. To launch his new endeavor, he took the stage in Vegas for a retched three-song debut as a rapper at a nightclub that made K-Fed look like TuPac by comparison.
Joaquin Phoenix is retiring from acting.
Ummm, does anyone care?
Sure, he’s a great actor who was nominated for two Oscars, as Best Supporting Actor for Gladiator and Best Actor in Walk the Line, but it’s not like he’s Michael Jordan announcing his retirement from basketball (the first time). It’s been three years since Walk the Line, and he hasn’t done a good movie since. And before Gladiator, his best work was in Parenthood. (He was excellent in that.)
