As if we didn’t hate this movie enough on principle.

Jackie Chan is reportedly in final negotiations to star as Mr. Miyagi in the bad idea jeans remake of The Karate Kid.

He would play the mentor to Jaden “My daddy starred in Independence Day” Smith.

As everyone knows, the part of Mr. Miyagi was legendarily played by Pat Morita in the 1984 original and sequels. He even earned an Oscar nomination he was so dope.

Nepotism is alive and well in Hollywood.

Of course, that’s never been a shock but when nepotism mixes with an outrageously bad idea for a remake, that’s when we get up in arms.

Will Smith’s son Jaden is set to star in an upcoming remake of The Karate Kid.

As in “wax on, wax off.” WHY ARE THEY REMAKING A CLASSIC!?!?!?!?

And with a TEN YEAR OLD????

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
