Wondering why Jason Schwartzman is growing out his mustache? (It's okay, we weren't either.) Well, it turns out there's a totally normal explanation for it.

Schwartzman and his wife, fashion designer Brady Cunningham, are expecting their first child in December, the actor announced on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week.

So what does that have to do with facial hair? "I decided to grow out this mustache, so when we take photos, my boy or girl, whatever it is, they will be embarrassed," the actor explained.

Following on Amy Adams' heels, actress Amanda Peet and her husband, writer David Benioff, who have been married for three years, have announced that they are expecting their second child.
