Madonna’s ex husband, Guy Ritchie is set to direct the live adaptation of DC comics’ drama, Lobo, about an alien bounty hunter, for Warner Bros.
The character originated in 1983 and has had several different looks. In the film, he is a seven-foot tall, blue-skinned, indestructible anti-hero who drives a spiffed up motorcycle. He lands on our planet in search of four fugitives who are causing chaos.
Production on Lobo begins next year.
Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana, stars of The Time Traveler's Wife (out today), talked to USA Today about the trouble with socializing in modern times.
Eric (Star Trek, The Other Boleyn Girl) has been married to wife Rebecca Gleeson for 11 years, but he says, "I don't know how I would hold up in today's market. I can't imagine making a move on someone via text."
Patrick Wilson (Little Children, Watchmen) and his wife, actress Dagmara Dominczyk Wilson, welcomed their second son on Sunday (older brother Kalin Patrick is 3).
Following the eccentric-baby-name law among celebrities, the couple named the newborn boy Kassian McCarrell Wilson.
Not only is he cute, he's also multi-talented.
Oscar-nominated actor Ryan Gosling (Half Nelson, The Notebook) is working on a musical side-project with his friend Zach Shields. The pair, going by the name Dead Man’s Bones, is planning to release their album on Oct. 6.
Yesterday was all about the couples who sweat together.
While Josh Lucas and Rachel McAdams were biking around the East Village, baby daddy Justin Timberlake and his girlfriend Jessica Biel were running along Manhattan’s West Side Highway.
Jogging behind JT must be the ultimate rabbit-and-carrot.
We wonder if Jess was listening to “SexyBack.”
Getting sweaty with JT isn’t a workout; it’s a privilege.

New couple Rachel McAdams and Josh Lucas were spotted biking around New York City’s East Village on Thursday afternoon.
They were seen apartment hunting in the same neighborhood two weeks ago.
Were they patrolling their new neighborhood or just enjoying the wind in their hair?
Why does Josh look like a bike messenger and Rachel look like Carmen Sandiego without the hat?

Spidey may need to snare a new leading lady in his web.
Kirsten Dunst is playing hard to get.
The fourth installment of the Spider-Man franchise is gearing up and Tobey Maguire has already signed on for a fourth and fifth film, but The Fang isn’t sure she wants to reprise the role of Mary Jane Watson.
Director Sam Raimi says, “I’m hoping that she is going to come on board and I’ve got a meeting coming up with her. I think she would like to but I don’t want to speak on her behalf.”
Whasa goin’ on?
On Friday new couple Josh Lucas and Rachel McAdams were spotted apartment hunting together in New York’s East Village. And they did not look happy to be noticed by the paparazzi.
We’re not sure if they’re looking to buy a place together or if just one of them is browsing, but checking out real estate with the person you’re dating is comparable to window shopping for china patterns and monogrammed luggage.
Are these two more serious than we realized?

Last night was ShowWest’s closing night awards banquet where the National Association of Theater Owners honored the actors and actresses they’ve knighted the biggest stars (and sacred cash cows) of the upcoming year.
The honorees included Zac Efron, Rachel McAdams, Audrina Patridge (say WHAT?!?!?), Dennis Quaid, Michael Caine, Sienna Miller, Zack Snyder, Bradley Cooper and Michael Bay.
So who would you rather?
Zac-y Pooh in all his barely legal, 17 Again glory?
They never get primetime placement, but always give the dorks the hottest chicks for their awards.
Jessica Biel has been tapped as this year’s host of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Scientific and Technical Awards. Biel will present six honors at the event held at the Beverly Wilshire on Saturday.
Excerpts from the Scientific and Technical Awards are inserted into the Academy Awards, which air this year on February 22nd.
