In this beautiful, simple, heart breaking film, Rose Byrne and Hugh Dancy, an Aussie and a Brit, play New Yorkers who meet in the laundry room of their glorious Manhattan apartment building. She’s lovely, he’s handsome, she’s a school teacher who wants to write children’s books, he’s got Asperger’s Syndrome, which essentially means he’s highly functioning but borderline autistic.

Last night, as he and his High School Musical castmates were leaving Josh Hartnett's performance, the West End stage adaptation of Rainman, Zac Efron was attacked by a crazed middle aged fan who lunged through the crowd of screaming tween fans outside London’s Apollo Theatre and tried to grab Zac-y Pooh’s hair.

Is someone trying to do some voodoo? Get a lock of his hair for some crazy Cupid spell or something?

The cast of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, including our boy Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu and Ashley Tisdale, took an evening off from their whirlwind round-the-world promotional duties supporting the franchise’s third installment, the first to be released theatrically, opening October 24th, to enjoy a night of theater.

Last night the HSM posse went to see Josh Hartnett perform in Rainman on London’s West End.
