Redmond O'Neal's never-ending jail-rehab cycle continues.

Yesterday, Redmond, 24, the son of actor Ryan O'Neal and the recently deceased actress Farrah Fawcett, pled no contest to bringing drugs into a prison facility this past April. He will be released from jail and sent to a year-long rehab program instead.

Rapper Coolio will soon be taking a Fantastic Voyage to rehab.

The Grammy Award-winning singer, born Artis Leon Ivey, Jr., pled guilty to cocaine possession in an LA court yesterday afternoon. He avoided a prison sentence by agreeing to enter a rehabilitation facility for 18 months.

We hope for Coolio's sake that rehab turns out to be a Gangsta's Paradise.

Paula Abdul was addicted to prescription pain killers.

In an interview in Ladies’ Home Journal’s June issue she talks about both the addiction and her rehabilitation.

“I could have killed myself,” Abdul, 46, says. “Withdrawal – it’s the worst thing.”

Abdul says she checked herself into the La Costa Resort and Spa, in Carlsbad, California last Thanksgiving to get help.

That means as long as he stays clean, he can avoid prison.

If he screws up, however, he’s looking at up to four years in jail.

After serving 20 months of a 40 month sentence, former Prison Break star Lane Garrison has been released from prison.

The actor was paroled and picked up at 3:50am Wednesday from the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi, California. He will now go to a rehab facility as part of the terms of his parole.

Ryan O’Neal has chosen to give his son, Redmond, some tough love and let him sit in jail waiting for his court date.

Redmond O’Neal, 24, was arrested on Sunday and charged with a felony count of drug possession.

And he already has a drug possession charge pending in a separate case.

And he was recently kicked out of rehab for failing a drug test.
