Cate Blanchett is reportedly stepping into Sienna Miller’s role as Maid Marian in Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood project Nottingham starring Russell Crowe.
Rumors about why Sienna was let go from the production have ranged from the gross juxtaposition of her with tubby, hairy, aging Crowe to her craptastic acting, depending on which report you believe.
We believe that Sienna sucks and any movie without her is better for it.
We love it when a plan comes together!
Ridley and Tony Scott are bringing The A-Team to the big screen in 2010.
Their company, Scott Free, will be producing and the film will be directed by Joe Carnahan, who we can thank for Ryan Reynolds' hotness in Smokin’ Aces (even though the film was bad) and the film Narc, which was exceptional and underappreciated.
Carnahan stepped into the director’s chair after John Singleton quit the project in October.
As if Broadway isn’t suffering enough these days.
Run for your lives, New York!
Godzilla Poonana, aka Sienna Miller, is coming for you!
We can hear the theme music already…
Sienna Miller has signed on to make her Broadway stage debut in September.
The making of Nottingham, the Ridley Scott-directed Russell Crowe vehicle which updates the classic Robin Hood story, continues to be an utter trainwreck.
There has already been word that Scott is upset with Crowe's attitude and appearance, and now, apparently, Crowe is striking back.
Ridley Scott's latest project, the Russell Crowe-vehicle Nottingham, a remake of the classic Robin Hood story, promises lots of drama... and not all of it is coming from the script.
This better be as good as Clue.
Although we don’t see how it could be.
Ridley Scott has signed on to direct a big screen adaptation of Monopoly.
As in the board game, with hotels and railroads.
Ridley will supposedly give the Monopoly movie a futuristic spin a la his 1982 epic Blade Runner.
Oookay.
Monopoly is one of several projects in a partnership with Hasbro Games and Universal Studios.
Not since the days of Jack Ryan (Harrison Ford, not Ben Affleck) has there been a film that blended political espionage with cat and mouse thrills as adeptly as Body of Lies.
Directed by Ridley Scott, the film marks his fourth endeavor with Russell Crowe. Their relationship has moved beyond bromance, they are now a muse for one another.
