Hollywood actress Kelly Preston is to speak out publicly for the first time about the death of her son.
Jett Travolta, Preston's son with husband and actor John Travolta, died suddenly of a seizure at the age of 16 while vacationing with his family in the Bahamas in January.
The Travoltas have so far grieved in private but in October Preston, 46, has agreed to speak about her loss at the California Governor's Conference for Women.
Billy Mays, the loud voice behind some of television’s biggest products, OxiClean and Orange Glo, was found dead in his Florida home by his wife on Sunday.
Mays, 50, was flying back to Tampa on Saturday when the plane’s front tires blew out, and he suffered a bump on the head due to a rough landing. But he joked after the plane landed.
"All the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head," Mays said.
Actress Farrah Fawcett, 62, who became one of the best known faces in Hollywood for her 1970s role in Charlie’s Angels, died earlier today, after a three-year battle with cancer.
Her long-time partner, Ryan O’Neal, father of her son, Redmond O'Neal, released the following statement:
We reported earlier that Mia Farrow’s brother, Patrick, was found dead in his art gallery in Vermont on Monday.
Police initially classified the death as “suspicious” but now reports say that Patrick died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. And the previously unidentified woman who made the 911 call to report the death turned out to be his wife and fellow artist, Susan.

Mickey Carroll, one of the last surviving 124 Munchkins from the movie The Wizard of Oz, has died.
The actor, born Michael Finocchiaro, died on Thursday, two months shy of his 90th birthday.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1919, Carroll's godfather was the infamous gangster Al Capone.
After a long illness, Dom DeLuise died in his sleep on Monday night.
He was 75.
Dom made a name for himself with small but memorable rolls in iconic films of the 70s and 80s like Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs and Cannonball Run.
Both Mel Brooks and Burt Reynolds used him as a regular fixture in their movies.
DeLuise was also a chef and author who wrote four cookbooks and seven children’s books.

Following her death on Saturday, Bea Arthur’s Golden Girls co-stars Betty White and Rue McClanahan have spoken out to share their fond memories of the seven happy years they spent with Arthur on the series.
McClanahan tells Entertainment Tonight, “[Thirty-seven] years ago she showed me how to be very brave in playing comedy. I’ll miss that courage. And I’ll miss that voice.”
Beatrice Arthur has passed at the age of 86.
Bea, who starred in the ground breaking 70s series Maude and the beloved 80s sitcom The Golden Girls, had been suffering from cancer. She died peacefully early Saturday morning.

Natasha Richardson has died.
We are saddened beyond words.
The 45-year-old actress suffered brain and head injuries from a fall on a Canadian ski slope Monday.
Her family released this statement.
“Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

Ron Silver died yesterday.
The Tony-award-winning actor and political activist succumbed to esophageal cancer peacefully in his sleep on Sunday morning. He was surrounded by family who had watched him suffer with the disease for two years.
Silver, who is best known for his role in Reversal of Fortune and as a co-founder of the Creative Coalition, was 62 years old.
