Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth installment in the Potter series and, it’s safe to say, this franchise is decidedly no longer child’s play.
Filled with heightened stakes, raging hormones, mini make-out sessions, the death of a beloved character and scenes that will have the audience jumping out of their seats, the Half Blood Prince is a dark, deeply cinematic outing that matures with its original audience and has great appeal for even non-Potter fans.
Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has been stricken with a mild case of swine flu.
The actor, who plays Harry's best friend Ron Weasley in the hit movie franchise, has had to take some time out of filming to recover.
"It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu," Grint's representative said.
Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films) is one cool lad, but we already knew that. But even he, with all his fame and fortune, has his shortcomings.
Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were spotted filming scenes for the new Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, in London yesterday.
The Deathly Hallows is expected to be released in two parts, one in 2010, the second in 2011. Reportedly the second one will use Benjamin Button-type technology to age the actors so they can act out the story in the book, which takes place 19 years after the main adventure.
Remember when they were just wee tykes?
We love when people tell it like it is!
Red-headed, Harry Potter star, Rupert Grint, is our new hero! Rupert, who plays Ron Weasley in the film series and is an excellent young actor, was considering a move to Hollywood, like his co-star Daniel Radcliff, but has decided against it.
Why? Because he’s awesome, has really good taste, talent and major smarts. More specifically, he doesn’t want to have to deal with the garbage Hollywood breeds, especially people like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.
