It's that time of the year when the major television networks start thinning the herd in terms of their primetime line-ups.

Some shows continue to make the cut over and over again, while many others get canned after just one season.

Ugly Betty has been put on “hiatus” starting March 26th so ABC can make room for new episodes of Samantha Who? and In the Motherhood, a new show starring Megan Mullally and Cheryl Hines.

Hiatus is the nice word for back-burnered and/or let to rot.

Christina Applegate recently sat down with Oprah to discuss her battle with and recovery from breast cancer. The Emmy nominated Samantha Who? actress was incredibly candid with The All Mighty O, especially when talking about her decision to have a double mastectomy.

“I was just gonna let them go” she said of her breasts. “And then, when I met with my doctor and I told him my decision, he brought the surgeon in, and it was like the floodgates just opened up, and I lost it.”

Christina Applegate, who rose to fame playing slutty ditz, Kelly Bundy on Married…with Children, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The 36-year-old actress who currently stars on ABC’s Samantha Who is expected to make a full recovery.

This has been a hard time for Applegate; less than a month ago her photographer ex-boyfriend Lee Grivas was found dead in his Hollywood apartment after an apparent drug overdose.

Though neither of the Olsen Twins ever needs to work another day in their life, the mini-multi-millionaires aren’t retiring just yet.

Mary-Kate Olsen began shooting a guest starring role on ABC’s Samantha Who? today, and the report is "she's terrific."

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!
