For once, it's not Megan Fox's mouth causing a problem. She hosted the season premiere of Saturday Night Live this weekend, and she was fine, though she wasn't given much to do.
The world's going to get a little funnier in about nine months.
Saturday Night Live's Bill Hader, one of the show's few bright spots these days, and his wife, Maggie Carey, are expecting their first child, the actor announced at the New York premiere of Paper Heart.
"I'm really excited," Hader told People magazine. "I think it's going to be awesome."
A Justin Timberlake fan site recently interviewed SNL's Andy Samberg, who collaborated with the singer on Internet sensations including "Dick in a Box" and "Jizz in my Pants." Of course, Andy took the interview ultra seriously:
Q: What’s the creative process like when Justin stops by the show?
John Krasinski, who plays cute goofball Jim Halpert in The Office, has been doing lots of press recently to promote his new movie Away We Go (out June 25th). Naturally, we delved into some of his interviews to see what he’s up to. He may be dating Emily Blunt now, but that doesn’t mean we can’t admire from afar!
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were snapped making their way into the infamous Saturday Night Live afterparty at New York City’s Heartland Brewery early Sunday morning.
We so wanted to love Zac’s episode.
But we didn’t.
He needed to come out and pull the Timberlake card: play to his strengths (singing and dancing), but doing it in a way that’s so outrageous, people can’t help but take notice.
Zac played it way too safe and he ended up making the same face, a sort of tight lip look of bemused terror, throughout the entire show.
We are having a major Zac Attack!
Ever since our rendezvous with the charmer on Sunday, we’ve been extra twitterpated about our Zac-y Pooh.
The wise old owl says, “Nearly everybody gets twitterpated in the springtime,” but we think it’s got less to do with the change of seasons and more to do with Efron magic.
Swoon.
Zac was snapped as he arrived in New York on Monday to begin preparing for his SNL hosting duties.
Lost won their first Peabody this year.
You know why?
Because it’s freakin’ AWESOME!!!
The Peabody panel said the show earned the acknowledgement because they have "rewritten the rules of television fiction."
Other winners of 2009 Peabody Awards include YouTube.com, Saturday Night Live and Breaking Bad.

Mad Men star Elizabeth Moss and Saturday Night Live’s Fred Armisen are engaged.
We wonder if he proposed dressed as Barack Obama.
Who would say no to that?
No wedding date has been set.
Congratulations to the happy couple.
Al Franken has officially won his Senate seat in Minnesota after being deadlocked for months during recounts.
The former Saturday Night Live star and Republican Senator Norm Coleman have been jockeying for position in the recount, which included thousands of backlogged absentee ballots, for two months.
In the end, after the state’s three millions votes were counted, recounted and certified, Franken won the race by 225 votes!
He said he was “humbled” to have been elected.
Al Franken takes the lead!
The former Saturday Night Live star has pulled ahead in the continuing race for the Senate seat in his home state of Minnesota.
Franken has been deadlocked with his opponent, Republican Senator Norm Coleman, since the Supreme Court called for a recount on November 19th because Franken trailed by less than one-half of one per cent of the total.
A five-member state board has been reviewing the disputed ballots this week and after discovering a number of x marks, underlines, blotches and one smiley face, the comedian has jumped ahead.
