Howard Stern be damned, Gabourey Sidibe has booked her first post-Precious gig.

She will will be a recurring guest star on Laura Linney's new Showtime series, The Big C, about a woman in the Connecticut suburbs living with terminal cancer. Sidibe will be a "smart-alecky" student in Linney's class.

If you're not, then you have to start. Like right now.

Last night's Dexter season finale was sort of amazing. We won't give away what happened, but let's just say it was a twist that we never EVER saw coming. What an awesome show.

It's been three years since we last saw our Friend, Matt LeBlanc on television (five years if you don't count Joey), but he's coming back!

What’s hotter than marrying your sibling?

Nothing if you ask Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter.

The two play brother and sister on Showtime’s hit Dexter, but, in real life, they’re man and wife.

How Appalachian of them.

The couple reportedly eloped on New Year’s Eve to Big Sur and will make their first public appearance as husband and wife at Sunday’s Golden Globes.

Congratulations!

Henry the Eighth I am, I am, Henry the Eighth I am.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers took one of many smoke breaks while filming scenes for the upcoming third season of Showtime’s The Tudors. The production was at Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin shooting the marriage of King Henry to Queen Jane Seymour (no, not Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Queen Jane played by Annabelle Wallis).

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
