A Georgia man will be charged with the attempted stalking of Miley Cyrus, police said.
Fifty-three-year-old Mark McLeod was arrested a month ago for trying to meet Cyrus when she was on the set of her new film, The Last Song. The movie was being shot on Tybee Island, near Savannah.
Tybee Island Police Chief Jim Price said McLeod, who told officers he was secretly engaged to the 16-year-old Hannah Montana star, was arrested after Walt Disney Pictures security officers reported he was on the set and had ignored an earlier warning in June to stay away.

"LeAnn is a stalker," Glanville told Us Weekly. "She refuses to leave us alone—it is shameful and scary.

Brady Green, the 38-year-old man accused of stalking Tara Banks, was convicted of stalking, harassment, criminal trespass and attempted aggravated harassment on Thursday morning in Manhattan’s criminal court.
Although the crimes carried a maximum sentence of 90 days, the judge instead instructed Green’s attorney to, “Put Mr. Green in a location where he can thrive. And that location is not likely to be the city of New York.”

Tyra Banks had to sashay onto the witness stand on Wednesday to testify against her accused stalker, Brady Green, 38.
“I fear my safety. I feel extremely vulnerable. I fear the safety of my staff. My family. The people in my vicinity,” said Banks.
Green, who allegedly threatened to slit the throat of one of Tyra’s employees if he wasn’t given Tyra’s home address, has been growing more and more threatening.
A woman accused of stalking Tyler Perry, Dawne Wilson, was arrested for aggravated stalking Wednesday outside Perry’s production studios in Atlanta.
Perry already has a restraining order against Wilson, who has done a number of these freakish drive bys.

Police later found two loaded guns in the man's car.
Robert O’Ryan, 34, allegedly jumped a fence at CBS Studios, where the show was filming, but was caught by security.
Kirsten Dunst has won a permanent protective order against Christopher Smith, 25, a fan who showed up at Dunst’s Hollywood home professing a “spiritual connection” with her.
Dunst was granted a temporary restraining order against Smith in November that he failed to obey.
The order forbids Smith from coming anywhere near the actress, her personal assistant, her residences and places of business. He is also barred from owning or possessing a gun.

Alyssa Milano has been forced to file a restraining order against alleged stalker Jeff Turner, a 54-year-old resident of Santa Cruz, California, who, according to court documents is “an obsessed and mentally unstable celebrity stalker fan,” who Alyssa “does not personally know nor have any relationship with.”
A hearing is scheduled for January 21st, 2009.
Jennifer Garner has been granted a permanent restraining order against her stalker that orders him to stay away from her and her family, their nanny, housekeeper and other staff, for the next three years.
Her stalker, Steven Burky, is still on an involuntary psychiatric hold pending the LAPD’s investigation into Garner’s claims.
