While everyone was anxiously awaiting an awkward run-in between Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the real weirdness was allegedly between Reese Witherspoon, Abbie Cornish and Ryan Philippe.

If you remember, Abbie was Ryan’s Stop Loss co-star and they hooked up with as his marriage to Reese Witherspoon was dissolving.

Reese was at Vanity Fair’s post-Oscar party at the Sunset Tower Hotel with her new man, Jake Gyllenhaal and, apparently Ryan and Abbie made an effort to avoid the two throughout the night, at Abbie’s insistence.

Their finally taking their love public!

Abbie Cornish and Ryan Philippe, who have reportedly been together since filming Stop Loss in 2006 (while Ryan was still married to Reese Witherspoon), finally emerged in full-on couple mode to attend Monday night’s Calvin Klein Spring 2009 collection launch.

And that’s not the only way this couple is setting up their togetherness game.

Ryan Philippe is reportedly going to be spending Christmas in Australia and with Abbie’s family.

The divorce between Reese Witherspoon, 32, and Ryan Phillippe, 33, has been finalized. The pair, married for seven years and with two children (ages 8 and 4), split in 2006, citing irreconcilable differences.

Ryan is now with Abbie Cornish, his Stop Loss co-star, and Reese is with Jake Gyllenhaal, her Rendition co-star.
