We told you yesterday, we were a little disappointed to discover that J-Hud was pulling an Ashlee Simpson during the National anthem on Sunday. 

Then, this morning, we were awakened by an email from our dear friend Jennifer who told us that, like Jennifer Hudson, pre-crack Whitney Houston lip-synced her legendary performance at the 1991 Super Bowl too.

Yesterday, Jennifer Hudson stepped onto the Super Bowl field, making her first public appearance since the murder of her mother, brother and nephew last year.

Just seeing her brought tears to our eyes.

We can’t imagine how she’s managed to persevere through the emotional ravaging of the past few months but she looked beautiful and sang the best version of the national anthem at a Super Bowl since Whitney Houston in 1991.

All we can say is, Bravo.

Everyone knows the best part of the Super Bowl is the commercials and, this year, they’re looking better than ever.

Jason Statham is set to star in a new Audi ad which will feature The Transporter star pedaling it to the metal around a closed inner-city circuit in the new Audi A6.

Last year’s Godfather-inspired ad was genius but nothing can top The Transporter…unless Statham does the commercial naked.

Audi bosses paid $6 million for the 30-second spot.

Worth every penny.

Much-deserved good things keep coming Jennifer Hudson's way.

J. Hud will follow up her return to the public eye at the Super Bowl on February 1st, where she will sing the National Anthem, with a performance at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards on February 8th.

After months in mourning with her family, Jennifer Hudson will be singing the National Anthem before the Super Bowl in Tampa, Florida next month.

It will be her first public performance since her mother, Darnell Donerson, brother, Jason Hudson, and nephew, Julian King, were shot to death. Her sister’s estranged husband, William Balfour, has been charged with the murders.

We’re getting choked up just thinking about it.
