Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift may have taken home Album of the Year at the Grammys the other night, but she did not get high marks for her performance. The New York Times called her "painfully out of tune."

We can't even think of a joke, so we're just going to say this straight out. T-Pain says he wants to work with Carrie Underwood next. On a song. For real. A rap song?

He said: "Next on my list is Carrie Underwood. I swear to God. Everybody else can suck it until I get to Carrie Underwood."

Now let's talk what really mattered at the Grammys. It wasn't the music, and it sure wasn't the awards. What was everyone wearing?

The Grammys are not exactly the most respected awards out there. They rank just above the People's Choice Awards. That's probably why they don't waste much time at the show giving out actual awards and instead put on a show instead.

The hits keep on coming for Sandra Bullock, who last night won the People's Choice Award for Favorite Film Actress, a feat she's accomplished four times before. But it was her speech that really stole the show.

Okay, fess up. Who out there are the secret Susan Boyle fans? There are a lot of you, obviously. She has the number one album for the fifth week in a row. This week she beat out new ones by Mary J. Blige and Alycia Keys.

I Dreamed a Dream sold half a million copies last week and is just shy of three million copies total.

After three serious months of intense puppy love, Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift have decided to call it quits.

Apparently they had no chemistry and decided to be just friends instead.

They met on the set of Valentine's Day, which comes out in February. In the movie they play young lovers and now it will just be despressing to watch. Sigh!

Look out for Kanye at this year's Grammy Awards, because Beyonce and Taylor Swift are up against each other once again. Beyonce may lead the pack with ten nominations, but Swift is right behind her with eight of her own. They each are nominated for Album, Song, and Record of the Year.

But where's Kanye? He was snubbed for all three, but still picked up six nominations.

It was another big night for Taylor Swift last night at the fake-Grammys...er...the American Music Awards. She picked up five awards, including Artist of the Year, besting even Michael Jackson.

It's been a big week for Taylor Swift. First she did double duty on SNL as host and musical guest, and then last night she won Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year at the CMAs. Kenny Chesney had been the reigning champ of the latter for four years straight. Go Taylor!

Luckily she has a good sense of humor about her, uh, previous awards show run in.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
